Is Kodak Black allergic to freedom?

On Thursday, the “No Flockin” rapper was arrested in South Florida on multiple charges, including possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, and improper parking, according to NBC 6 South Florida.

Sound familiar? In July 2022, Black was arrested in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on charges of possessing a controlled substance without prescription and trafficking oxycodone. Officers found almost $75,000 cash and a clear bag containing 31 tablets of oxycodone, a painkiller used to treat severe pain after surgery or injury.

As a result, he was placed on house arrest and ordered to pay a $250,000 personal surety bond.

History repeated itself this week when an officer approached a vehicle, found the 26-year-old rapper sleeping in the driver’s seat, and smelled cannabis coming from the car.

More from NBC 6 South Florida:

Black was told to exit the SUV and when he was asked if there were any weapons or anything illegal in the SUV replied that there was just some weed, the report said.

A short time later, the officer noticed white powder falling from Black, the report said.

“The powder was visible due to the strong scene lights of my patrol vehicle,” the officer wrote in the report. “I reasonably believed Kapri was trying to discard illegal narcotics.”

The officer approached and noticed Black’s mouth was “full of white powder,” the report said.

The white substance later tested positive for cocaine, according to NBC 6 South Florida.

This is the first time Black has found himself in legal trouble since February, when an arrest warrant was issued after he failed to show up for a drug test and then submitted a sample that tested positive for fentanyl.

His arrest comes nearly a month after Black released his sixth studio album “When I Was Dead,” which is his worst-performing project since 2020s “Bill Israel.”
