It’s not unheard of for women to make major changes to their look after having a baby. She was a chameleon who frequently changed her look before she became a mom, there’s no reason to expect anything different from her now. Since bursting on the scene with “Pon de Replay,” we’ve seen RiRi rock hair of every length and color—looking gorgeous in all of them—so her going blonde isn’t exactly crazy. However, having two kids back-to-back made any changes impossible, as women are advised not to color their hair during pregnancy.
Anytime the “Diamonds” singer drops a new clothing line, beauty product, song or baby, the internet has thoughts, so you know social media definitely had something to say about the new hair.
One user thought the “Umbrella” star looked like a very familiar TV character, writing on X, “Rihanna’s hair same as Jennifer Aniston’s [Friends] character Rachel Green?”
In response to everyone going wild over her new look, one fan was looking for a different type of debut, asking on X, “Can she debut new music next?”
Another person wondered if the change meant something else was on the horizon, posting on X, “Woah she looks so good! Wait… what if she’s preparing a new album to go with the new hair?”
