Kylie Jenner has finally spoken out about the dynamics of her friendship with Jordyn Woods and why they decided to hang out in public after the scandal that rocked their friendship in 2019. Why did it take so long for them to be seen in public?
Because the Kardashians had to recover from being losers.
When Woods was being attacked online for hooking up with Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson more than three years ago, Jenner stayed silent. However, in a shocking revelation, she said that the duo “never fully cut each other off.” Jenner also said that the two needed a moment to grow into themselves after the incident because they were inseparable.
“I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long,” Jenner said. So, Woods was your security blanket and someone you loved and trusted but you didn’t protect her back against your family and the rest of the world when she was attacked? Yikes.
This just goes to prove the Kardashian-Jenner family need to always come out on top in the public eye. They’ll allow the people they supposedly hold so near and dear to their hearts to be scrutinized as long as it’s what their fans want them to do. Kanye West and Blac Chyna were both victims of that scrutiny. But the interesting part about Woods is that strategy backfired, thanks to the Smith family and their “Red Table Talk.”
Longtime family friends of Woods, the Smiths were her saving grace and the Kardashians probably forgot that alliance existed. Who can go against the Smiths? Nope, not even you Kar-Jenners! So they had to take their “L” and make Khloe’s new storyline on their reality show about being timid and afraid of the media due to the backlash of blaming Woods for the cheating scandal more than her own boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Woods started thriving in her professional and personal life after not being constantly connected with the Kar-Jenners.
So, they decided to show off Woods right before the Tristan Thompson Apology Tour that has been going on in the newest season of “The Kardashians.” In order to get back in the public’s good graces, they have to flip the script and have Thompson begging for forgiveness, which he should’ve been doing all along. They had to let some time pass for people to forget (or so they thought) how terribly they treated Woods.
Jenner has to be her friend, loud and proud, because she failed her so miserably back in 2019.
