It appears as if Will Smith is keeping some very attractive company lately. The actor, 55, was seen Friday at Art Basel in Miami with a mystery woman. Per onlookers, the pair were seen leaving the prestigious art event together in the same limousine.
Smith and the woman — who bears a passing resemblance to his wife Jada Pinkett Smith — were also spotted at the pizza restaurant Lucali, a spot celebrities including Beyoncé and Jay-Z have frequented. Donning a polo and cargo pants, the star seemed to be enjoying a reprieve from all the publicity he’s received.
In October, Pinkett Smith released her memoir “Worthy,” which revealed that she and Smith have lived apart since 2016. The book also explained how the couple weren’t technically together at last year’s Oscars ceremony, where Smith infamously hit Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s hair.
Despite their unique situation, Pinkett Smith has said on numerous occasions that she and her husband plan on staying together.
Smith appeared at the Red Sea International Film Festival in in Saudi Arabia on Sunday. He spoke at the festival about his “many adversities” and how he’s learning from his past mishaps.
“I have made tons of mistakes,” Smith stated. “Fame is a unique monster. You can’t get too excited when people say good things about you. Because then when people say bad things about you, you struggle and suffer more. I have to be clear about who I am and what I am attempting to do in the world. And I can’t need others to applaud for me to stay focused on my mission…I want you to feel good. And at the same time, I am deeply human.”
We’re glad that Smith is simply enjoying himself these days.
