Beyoncé asked fans to sport silver at her shows during the final month of her “Renaissance” tour. The idea was to celebrate her birthday and Virgo season by creating a human disco ball at each venue. The Beyhive did not disappoint, showing up decked out head to toe in their finest silver attire. But now that the tour is over, folks are kicking all that silver gear to the curb. At least that’s what one thrift shop worker is claiming on TikTok.
In a video captioned, “I have seen nonstop silver for the last three months #beyonce #renaissanceworldtour,” the user shows quick clips of sliver skirts, pants and shoes that have come into the store.
While you may want to make room in your closet for new gear, you don’t have to get rid of all that silver just yet. With just a few simple pieces, you can breathe new life into those silver styles for work, a night out or a weekend brunch. Keep those clothes, because you never know when Bey might need you to come through again.
Wear With a White Top
A white oxford shirt is a wardrobe staple that’s perfect for the office. Try pairing these silver jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch with an oversized white poplin shirt from H&M.
Go With Grey For a Monochromatic Look
Pairing grey with silver can create a monochromatic look that works for day or night. We love this silver bodycon dress from Revolve with this grey sweater from Zara made of a super soft wool blend.
Add a Pop of Color
Winter is on the way. But that’s no reason to get rid of all the color in your wardrobe. Try pairing a bright colored sweater with a silver bottom, like this lime green knit turtleneck from ASOS with the High Rise Vintage Slim Vegan-Leather Pants from Gap Factory.
Dress Down With a Graphic Tee
If you’re looking to dress down your silver slacks, a vintage graphic tee is always a great idea. We love this silver cargo jogger from Forever 21 with a Soul Train Get On Board tee from Okayplayer.
Show Off Your Shoulders
This open shoulder top paired with a sequin midi skirt is just what you need to create a sexy look for a night out on the town.
